the dichotomy of
Mimi-Mona
may divide the
erotic from the
avant garde
the surreal
the tres chic
BUT
when someone as
sui generis as
Mimi-Mona
appears on the scene,
it is time to see
everything must
belong to
one part or
the other and
nothing
can belong
simultaneously
to both
unless both are one
and that one is
the one the only
Mimi-Mona
she probably will be
mumbling stumbling
rocking as the chaos
around her rages on
she says, calmly,
it is nothing compared to
the chaos raging in me—
after all, I am an artist
and I write stories
and poems
I am
Mimi-Mona
