Mimi-Mona Poetry: Today's Haiku

Haiku (Hokku)
It's a Japanese verse form
of three unrhyming lines
in five, seven, and five
syllables that creates a
single, memorable image.

I need more coffee
The dogs woke me up early
Guess I’ll write or paint

Dogs are like children;
They sleep and I grab a book.
