STRANGE DREAM
This face,
a face like a kaleidoscope,
stayed in front of me...
above me, to my left,
to my right, but always in my line of sight --
I couldn't get away no matter
how many doors I went through
or flowerbeds I hid in
or clouds I jumped into;
the face was always there.
what finally woke me was,
well, when I realized
This Face was MY FACE!
Internal Monologues
it's coffee o'clock this morning
because someone didn't get all of her
beauty sleep --
ahhh ,well, this is how my life
of contrast, with Eros and Thanatos,
advances;
a life of emotional and physical
ecstasy,
and, alas, a life where I
incorporate
the course of nature and the
discourse
of my mind in these internal monologues.
