Mmm. He could taste it;
It filled his senses…
The aroma so pure,
So ripe, so firm…
Flowing juices,
Pleasure that overwhelms
As he suckled the nectar,
Savored its unsullied sweetness,
Let it invade his being,
Intoxicated by its flesh.
He grasped it.
Enjoyed the bounties.
As he devoured the glistening peach

LAVA

Exquisite
distress;
impetuous
volcano;
astride
you,
sweating,
I
want
you
to
explode
in
me.

POETRY - ROMANTIC: TONGUES

"In essence, the only requirement a 'word sonnet' takes from the traditional sonnet form is that it be composed of fourteen lines. These diminutive sonnets may be composed of more than one sentence, but each of the fourteen lines may contain only one word." Seymour Mayne

Tongues

Both
wanting
to
be
dominant,
to
be
submissive;
where's
the
peace
for
their
dueling?

Helpless
in your thoughts
in your presence
in your arms

Enough
is not a word you hear
not a word you want to hear
not a word you understand
